Here we are, a decade into the new century already-As we herald 2010 our thoughts must turn to what spring will bring. It was a particularly dry and cold summer last year, let's hope this year proves to be warmer and wetter! We hope to play a part in your plans for the spring with our tradition of providing you with the greatest selection of poultry in Canada! We have worked hard to bring ourselves into the new decade with the introduction of online ordering, so you can order at your convenience. As always we will be at the other end of the phone if you need to talk to us.
We remain the home of the Canadian Bronze Turkey whilst also offering hybrid layers, white turkeys, dual purpose breeds as well as Heritage breeds. Not forgetting the ever popular Broiler!
Our decision to provide the best bio-security continues by ensuring that all our breeding stock is under our direct control: grown in bio-secure housing: health monitored by us, as well as, the federal and provincial government: grown on a program that ensures healthy, vigorous chicks, hatched in one of our 2 federally monitored hatcheries located in Westlock, Alberta. All this and much more comes to you with every hatchling you receive form us.
We thank all of you who take the time to fill out your livability reports. We read every one of the hundreds we receive each year & we value your comments.
As in the past year our Bantams will be available in Bantam Packages and All Breed Packages (as available on that date). We continue our heightened bio-security measures by hatching and shipping the Heritage breeds and Pheasants which are hatched at our second hatchery on Tuesdays only, and thus Heritage and Pheasant orders may not be combined with any other breeds.
We will continue to ship our chicks by mail, air and with some couriers, helping us to reduce the time your chicks are in transit. Having your facility pre-warmed and ready for the chicks is essential. Be prepared!
We remain a family owned business entering our 24th spring season-with our daughter and son-in-law supplying us with a great number of our hatching eggs. We look forward to serving you with our improved on line order service.
