HOW TO ORDER YOUR HERITAGE CHICKENS:
We have this year:
Ameraucanas (Bluey Green eggs/
Buff Orpingtons(Dark Brown Eggs)/
Danish Brown Leghorns(White Eggs)/ Buff brahams(
Dark Brown Eggs) are the standard heritage breeds
And Golden Sebright/
Black
White Silkies Silver
Duckwing Old English are the Bantams
Bantams are approximately ¼
the size of a standard size chicken and their eggs are proportional to their
size.
There
are different ways of ordering your Heritage Breeds:
1 SPECIFIC BREEDS: To receive your
choice of breeds, you may order any of the 4 standard heritage breeds shown in
this catalogue. To allow everyone a chance at having a selection of bantams in
the packages bantams cannot be ordered by breed only in packages.
2 HERITAGE GROUP PACKAGE: You may order
your birds in 3 different packages Rare Breeds Package, the Bantam
Breeds Package, and the All Breed Package Order
your favorite package from one of these three and we will send you our
selection of breeds from that group. Please note that you may not
specify the breeds in each package. Minimum order is 10 birds from one
package.
We will have for sale our Heritage Breeding stock at the end of our hatching season.
Call to be put on the list.

TO ENSURE AVAILABILITY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND ORDERING AT LEAST 4 WEEKS BEFORE
YOUR PREFERRED DELIVERY DATE.
Frequently asked question-Will I get all the breeds?
Answer: While we try to give you a selection of breeds we have to
fill the specific breed orders first for that date –Depending on the production
and hatchability of the eggs on that particular day we cannot
guarantee the number of breeds you will receive. Heritage
breeds are a good deal less predictable than hybrids and dual purpose.
While
we need 25 in total to ship with confidence you may chose eg.
15 buff Orpingtons with 10 Bantams
or 10 Bantams, 10
Standard H. Birds with 5 Ameraucanas
It
is worth remembering that the more you have of one breed the more even the
sexing is likely to be.
We are
physically untrained to sex these birds!!!!!!!!
